Improved Gantt chart
The Gantt chart, a favorite project management tool, is one of the most popular project views in the Projektově application.
The entire Projektově application has a redesigned design, so the chart itself has also undergone a "facelift".
A solid foundation
The Gantt chart as you know it from version 1 remains in a similar form. When planning a project in Projektově 2, you also start by entering tasks on the task map and then plan the deadlines through the Gantt chart.
Basic use is identical, and filtering and grouping you will find in the same place as in Projektově 1. We redesigned the look of the chart so that it matches the colors in Projektově 2.

Advanced filters
The filter in version 1 is in a more limited form in which you can choose between filtering by assignee or by tasks. Which was sometimes not enough.
The new filter in Projektově 2 is robust. It can filter several assignees you choose at once, by task types, only by your delegated tasks and more. The chart can be filtered practically without limit.

Exports
We know how important Gantt chart exports are for you. We completely reworked exports to PDF and PNG. The chart is now exported 1:1, exactly as you see it on the screen.
Previously, in version 1, exporting the chart was not possible when grouping by assignee or with multiple filters. That is now in the past – in the new chart in Projektově 2 you can export your schedules practically any way you want.

You do not have to save the Gantt chart before exporting. Just change the deadlines and you immediately see the changes. You can then export the result directly, without saving, as a snapshot to PDF or PNG.
Instant saving
Speed is essential for comfortable work. In version 1 we often heard in feedback that saving large projects takes a long time. In Projektově 2 we redesigned saving from the ground up, and changes are saved almost instantly.
Marking task progress
In the original chart, the task rectangles could only be "stretched or moved in time". We want the chart to be more helpful, and so we added a new feature.
Using the slider at the bottom edge of a task rectangle, you can now set percentages – the task's progress. Based on those, the task on the chart suddenly turns green. This is a simple way to note with the mouse how much of the task is done.
Locking a task
An important task can be locked and no one, not even you, can move it as a result of preceding tasks shifting. A deadline from a contract? From an investor? Lock it. This important function remained unchanged and stays in Projektově 2 as you know it from version 1.

Project critical path
You have asked us many times about the critical path in the chart. So when building the new chart, we had you in mind, listened to your need for a critical path in project management and added it to the new Projektově 2.
The use of the critical path will certainly be appreciated by all project managers of projects with a large number of tasks. It can always happen that even a small slip causes a delay. The critical path in the chart shows precisely what cannot be delayed. A delay of a task on the critical path causes the overall delay of the whole project, which in contracted projects can mean a financial penalty for the company.
The Gantt chart shows you on the critical path which tasks you must keep an eye on and whose deadlines must be watched.
