Clearer task card
In the previous articles we wrote about how we completely redesigned the project list or how to navigate quickly between all the tasks that you have in Projektově. In this article we will look together at the final level – the task detail.
Color coding of tasks
For even better orientation and, importantly, motivation to push tasks through and resolve them, we have added color highlighting here too – in the header of the specific card. Current tasks will appear purple, overdue tasks will light up orange and completed ones green, just like in the list one level up.

Task properties
The right-hand side has gained one big news. It is split into basic task details, such as the assignee and deadline, and additional information, such as time spent or task classification.
Not everyone records times spent on tasks or adds costs, so we now have the option to hide them.
An administrator can now hide unused fields under additional information and simplify the whole task card. The basic details are always shown; the additional information can be "collapsed" so it is out of the way.
Bulk attachment download
You know how it goes – sometimes you simply need to download everything, even the kitchen sink. We added a button that downloads all attachments – with one click.
Description formatting
In the current Projektově we have basic formatting options. Practically only bold text or bullet points. With longer task descriptions, however, the text blends together. What if I need to highlight a key sentence or paragraph? Now you can, and you have several colors to choose from.
Through conversations with customers while preparing Projektově 2 we found out that you also have long-running tasks where you gradually add notes to the task description. To make these tasks clearer as well, in addition to color distinction we also added the option for larger texts/headings.
For these and all other tasks we have also redesigned the comments.

Comments and reactions
Comments are important for the life of every task. They help separate the original task definition from a live discussion and provide a clear view of changes. We improved the prioritization of comments so that system notices do not overshadow interesting discussion. For the same reason we added the option to show all changes or only comments and files.

The last addition to comments are reactions, which are entirely new. Anyone in the team can now react to a specific comment in a way other than another text – with one of the predefined reactions – and thus structure and steer the discussion better. You can use it, for example, for approving individual changes.
